Overview

Moonripple Lake is a 2D adult visual novel for players who enjoy small-town drama with a heavy corruption and netorare edge. The tone mixes humor with dark, kinky detours.

Story

After his crypto fortune collapses, Anon sells his apartment and moves with Suzie to Moonripple Lake, renting a house in a last attempt to avoid getting a real job. Settling in brings new acquaintances, old friends turning up again, and local mysteries that pull the two of them into increasingly strange territory.

Gameplay

Players move through episodic chapters, guiding Anon's choices as he and Suzie meet the town's residents and get drawn into its secrets. Decisions shape relationships and how far certain encounters go, with exploration segments tying the everyday moments to the area's stranger happenings. A collectible polaroid gallery rewards finding specific scenes along the way.

NEW LOOK
Every menu is rebuilt in a loud "summer pop" style: stickers on pool water. Saves are photo stickers, speaker names sit on tags in their colour, the title screen cycles through 9 animated wallpapers and plays music, and Customize Your Story is one clear row per decision.
The bottom left and bottom right on the title screen below here have new functionality:
Music player (more songs that fit the main menu from the game will be added)

Stay on current wallpaper (left-click)
Play through all wallpapers (left-click)
Hide UI and show only wallpaper
Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Italian, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Turkish, Polish, Hungarian, Slovenian and Croatian. Pick one at the start or in Options → Languages. Machine translated for now, human translations for launch, so tell me if a line reads weird.

Fixes across earlier episodes, like the white screen on the Episode 5 ferry.

No free roam in this release - so chess and the other minigames that were planned sit this one out.
