Overview
Lustline Utopia is a visual novel dating sim for players who want a slow-burn corruption story with a protagonist they choose themselves. The tone stays quiet and grounded even as the story pushes further.
Story
You wake up broke, hungover, and missing a night's worth of memories, with rent due Sunday and no good options. Playing as a man or a woman puts you on a different path through the city, each with its own pressures and its own way of wearing you down. None of it happens by force. The city just keeps making offers, and small choices add up until you look up and realize how much has changed.
Gameplay
You move through the city in a sandbox structure, choosing who to spend time with and which offers to take as money problems and daily pressure build in the background. Dating sim mechanics let you build ties with different people, while light RPG elements track how your choices shift who your character becomes. Male and female protagonists each follow their own version of this loop, with different people, pressures, and outcomes tied to the path you pick.
Features
- Two separate protagonist paths, male and female, each with its own story beats and pressures
- Corruption tracked through accumulated choices rather than a single fixed script
- 2D character art with animated scenes throughout
- Themes of transformation and gender bender woven into the city's cast and situations
Changelog
v0.5.2
- The main story gets most of the attention this time, with four quests, several new characters, and Minus One to explore beneath The Gutter. There's also a new LustFling match, along with more artwork and animations.
- I've added skin colour customisation and given the laptop and LustLink Board a new look, too. There are quite a few changes for mobile players, especially when creating a character, trying on clothes or using the laptop.
- Biggest Additions
- Four main story quests: The Ultimate Lead quest continues after Memory Recovery, with more Bryan and Dr. Takemi content and the new Minus One district. Colliseum, Lucky Charm and Wife add quests with Sonny Jones, Sabrina, Will Slim and Jane. Sabrina also offers daily tarot readings through her story. The main story will continue beyond this update.
- Yong-sun joins the cast with a paid job and a guided burglary tutorial. He walks you through locks, security and searching, so you can learn how burglaries work while playing.
- Oriana Van Der Linden is on LustFling. Her first visit is now playable, with further visits still to come.
- More animations and scene artwork. Missionary animations now appear in more scenes at Club Euphoria, in Sterling Row, with Sera, and in Advanced Study with Jezebel. They reflect your current body, skin colour, hair, makeup and supported chastity gear. The new quests have more illustrations, portraits and location artwork, while Urgent Delivery gets five new illustrations.
- Skin colour customisation is now available during character creation. Choose Default, Pale, Medium brown, Dark brown or Warm golden, with your choice appearing on your body, face and animations.
- The laptop now opens into HexOS, with apps for study, games, PornStation, messages, contacts, LustFling, bills, businesses and LustLink. Apps keep your place when you switch between them, and messages stay in sync with your phone. Browsing is free; Action Points are only spent when you start an activity.
- The LustLink Board has been redesigned. Jobs, services and apartments have grouped listings and expandable previews, with pay, costs, deadlines and terms easier to check before accepting. Urgent Delivery and Bookcase Carry-In also have new images on the board.
- Other Changes
- Character creation separates body, face, starting clothes and the final review into clearer steps. Previews are easier to use, and phones have an enlarged preview option.
- HexOS gives open apps more room on phones, with smaller bars and menus, clearer activity controls and easier scrolling through jobs and businesses.
- Beauty Studio, Nail Studio and clothing try-ons make better use of small screens. Colour controls are wider, previews fit better, and both studios have Close buttons at the bottom.
- Mobile navigation remembers which sections you've folded. Dialogue portraits sit beside the text, and dice controls have more room on narrow screens.
- Prose and dialogue have been reworked across the prologue, Eva's first greeting, home activities and early Femmecat visits.
- The Journal groups the related quests under The Ultimate Lead and makes the next destination easier to find. Burglary instructions are easier to scan, too.
- Browser translation tools work better across menus, inventory, shops and save dialogs. Translation still comes from your browser or extension.
- Starting the game on desktop takes less time on the loading screen.
- Cheats start enabled in patron builds, with the drawer tucked away until you open it. You can turn them off in Settings > Gameplay, and the game remembers your choice.
