Overview

Monster Girl Tactics: Oubliette is a text-based tactical RPG for players who want branching romance paired with strategic combat. The tone leans dark and ambitious, built around power struggles rather than lighthearted fantasy.

Story

Cast out and left with nothing, a group of outcasts forms an unlikely mafia among monstergirls, clawing their way up through a world that discarded them. Their path forward is driven by revenge and the hope of change, with love complicating every step.

Gameplay

Battles play out in turn-based tactics, with positioning and team composition deciding fights much like genre staples such as Fire Emblem. Outside combat, the player recruits members, equips them with items, and makes choices that shape relationships and the story's direction. Decisions carry consequences, pushing different characters toward different outcomes across the campaign.

Installation

1. Extract and run "mg_tactics.exe".
Updating From Previous Versions
From Newer Versions
1. Extract the new version anywhere and run; save files and player settings are not stored in the game install.
From Versions Before September 1, 2026: [F3-A], [F2-B], and [F2-A]
1. Extract the new version's archive
2. Copy assets/settings.cfg from your old install folder to your new one.
If you don't do this, your ingame settings will be reset to default (and all volume sliders will be zeroed).
No action is needed for save files, as they are not stored in the game's install folder.
Alternatively, you can extract the new archive directly into your previous game's install folder, overwriting any files in the process.
