Overview
Ajestremia is a visual novel for players who want a fantasy adventure built around choice. The tone leans into romance and exploration in equal measure.
Story
You take on the role of a guard stationed in Ajestremia, a world where every decision you make steers the path ahead. From here you choose whether to pursue romance or focus on exploring the wider world, with the story branching according to your choices.
Gameplay
Play unfolds as a mix of visual novel choices and turn-based combat, with your decisions determining how relationships and encounters develop. Alongside romance conversations with monster girl characters, you take part in battles and explore the surrounding map, with outcomes shifting depending on the path you follow.
Features
- Multiple endings shaped by your choices throughout the guard's journey
- Turn-based combat woven into the exploration and romance loop
- 2D character art with monster girl designs across the cast
- A world map that expands as you progress
Changelog
v0.9.1
- Edelweiss romance first arc conclusion !
- This update closes the first part of Edelweiss's romance
- with a dedicated illustration and story beat meant
- towrap this chapter properly.
- 3 new Edelweiss sprites
- (2 clearly visible, 1 more subtle but useful in practice) to give her more life in dialogue and scenes.
- This does not mean her story is over forever. Depending on community interest (and future polls), I may revisit this route from time to time. For now, this first chapter is complete.
- A new character Someone new joins the adventure in this update. I will not say more here. Play the game and discover them yourself.
- Character customization , first step forward :
- This update adds a new cosmetic layer for the main character after a special encounter.
- A new visual detail is now attached to your hero (like hair, skin tone, eye color, and equipment).
- It also shows up in dialogue sprites, not only on the map. If you had unlocked it before leaving Eden, it would already appear in conversations the same way.
- Customization is still limited for now (mostly colors and a few options), but this is the start of a system I want to expand over time.
