Overview
Summertime Saga: Realistic Remake is a photorealistic visual novel for players who want a grounded, familiar story told with a different visual style. The tone stays close to its source material: modest, character-driven, and unhurried.
Story
After his father's funeral, a young man moves in with a family friend while he sorts out the debts his father left behind. Between settling into a new household and preparing to return to college, he starts to learn how deep the trouble actually runs.
Gameplay
Play unfolds through point-and-click exploration of home, school, and town, with a day built around a working clock and character schedules. Conversations and choices open new routes with the people around him, and returning to the same places at different times reveals different scenes and small side stories tied to specific characters.
Features
- Photorealistic character art built on a Ren'Py visual-novel framework
- Time-based routes where the same location plays out differently depending on the hour
- Voiced scenes alongside the usual text-based dialogue
- Parody framing that reworks a well-known dating-sim setup with a realistic look
Notes
This is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by the original Summertime Saga team.
