Story

Alan and Marielle fight side by side against the monsters of their world, but some of these creatures have other intentions. In the middle of combat, certain foes grab hold of Marielle instead of striking, and the fight turns into something she has to struggle against on her own terms.

Gameplay

Battles mix standard combat against hostile creatures with encounters that shift direction mid-fight, as some monsters grapple Marielle instead of attacking outright. Players guide her through these struggles, watching her reactions change as she resists, with combat and these altered encounters forming the core loop of the current zone.
