Ghetto Star

Ghetto Star is a 2D sandbox dating sim for players who want a grounded, character-driven story with a retro comic look. The tone stays close to street-level struggle rather than fantasy escapism.

Story

Palm Coast, 1986. Jimmy Estrella arrives at college broke, renting a room on Eastside while juggling classes, rent, and tuition he can't fully cover. His friend DC offers quick cash through risky jobs, pushing Jimmy to weigh how far he'll go to stay afloat and who he'll lean on, or get close to, in the process.

Gameplay

Players move through a free-roam map covering Eastside, the college, and nearby local spots, managing weekly rent, tuition, GPA, and a rising Heat meter. Income comes from hustling and night jobs, while a notebook tracks the next objective. Choices shape branching routes with the people around Jimmy, including at least one relationship with distinct dominant or submissive paths.
