Being Mia's Boyfriend

Being Mia's Boyfriend is a text-based visual novel for players who want a slow-burn romance told entirely through messages and photos. The tone stays personal and uneasy, closer to reading someone else's phone than playing a game.

Story

You're away at work while Mia, your girlfriend, spends her days alone and bored, texting you about her life. Your replies shape who she becomes and how close she grows to your best friend Noah, as her world starts to include people and places you can't see firsthand.

Gameplay

Play unfolds as a one-sided phone conversation: you read Mia's incoming texts, open the photos she sends, and check her Instalove feed before choosing how to respond. Each reply nudges the relationship toward reassurance, jealousy, sharing, or distance, and those choices carry forward into how later conversations play out.

Features

• Phone-screen interface built around texts, photos, and a social feed instead of traditional dialogue scenes
• Branching responses that shift Mia's personality and her closeness with Noah over time
• Recurring photoshoot-style events that play out differently depending on your choices
• Visual novel pacing with static CG art rather than animated scenes

Notes

The game leans into netorare, cheating, and voyeurism themes by design, with routes that let you watch events unfold rather than control them directly. Players sensitive to those themes should weigh that before starting.
